Paint Your Fireplace's Mantle
A mantle is a gorgeous addition to any fireplace, but it can get lost when it's the same hue as the room's other surfaces. Before you add your home to the inventory of Brainerd homes for sale, plan a quick paint project to turn your fireplace into a strong selling point. Consider painting the mantle a shade that contrasts with the color of your fireplace and other room areas. For example, if you have a whitewashed fireplace and light walls, paint the mantle a bold, bright hue to serve as the focal point and add color to the room.
