There's nothing like great food made from high-quality, fresh ingredients. Plenty of farms around the Twin Cities with great quality fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meats, and several restaurants around Minneapolis homes for sale and St. Paul homes for sale that source their ingredients from those farms to make delicious meals.   • Spoon and Stable - 211 N. 1st St., Minneapolis, MN 55401
    A French-style restaurant, Spoon and Stable focuses on seasonal Midwest ingredients. Located in what once was an old horse stable, they serve everything from halibut to duck breast to ratatouille to bison tartare, all farm fresh and delicious. They even have farm-to-table desserts like strawberry and sorrel mille-feuille or honey and cream cake with beeswax ice cream. Open for dinner from 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday, they also offer Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Brasa Premium Rotisserie - 777 Grand Ave., St Paul, MN 55105
    If you want the best Creole cooking the Midwest has to offer, head to Brasa Premium Rotisserie. Fusing flavors of Mexico, the Caribbean, and the American South, everything is locally sourced, from meats and eggs to coffee and tea. Their menu is fairly short; they focus on doing a few things really well. You can get rotisserie chicken, roasted pork, fried fish; vegan options, such as sandwiches, bowls, plates; or a la carte dishes—all reasonably priced and fantastic. They also provide catering or join their Supper Club for a fully prepared meal for up to four people delivered right to your door every month.

  • The Copper Hen Cakery and Kitchen - 2515 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55404
    A great brunch spot, The Copper Hen Cakery and Kitchen is open 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday for dinner. Try their brioche cinnamon roll or breakfast salad with mixed greens, pork belly, soy mushrooms, and a poached egg, topped with champagne apple vinaigrette. They also have an amazing bakery, serving things like lemon and blueberry cheesecake, mixed berry crumble, or a variety of cakes and cupcakes (including gluten-free options). Or if you're planning something special, come Thursday night for their Date Night menu, featuring a delicious three-course meal for two.

  • Wise Acre Eatery - 5401 Nicollet Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55419
    If you want something a bit more casual, Wise Acre Eatery is the place for you. Founded by two self-described farm boys with a love of great ingredients and great cooking, much of their food, such as eggs, meat, and seasonal produce, is sourced from their own farm in Plato, MN, and from collaborations with other farms in the area. Try their cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich or brunch bowl with home fries, seasonal vegetables, cheesy scrambled eggs, and pesto aioli. 

  • Tullibee - 300 N. Washington Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55401
    For a unique, upscale dining experience, Tullibee is a place you won't soon forget. A Scandinavian restaurant located in the Hewing Hotel, they serve everything from rabbit ragu to wild duck to sockeye salmon to spring vegetable lasagna, all in an intimate, rustic setting. They also have a rooftop lounge with light bites and a beautiful view of the Minneapolis skyline.
