That's what happy hour is all about—relaxing and unwinding, perhaps with a few colleagues or friends. If you're in the Twin Cities, then you know this area takes happy hour seriously. Aster Cafe is a quiet, local place with dim lighting, friendly bartenders, and a skyline view. They have happy hour specials every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4-6 p.m. Favorite specials at Aster Cafe include $5 draft beers and $7 glasses of Sangria. If you're with a group, you could order a pitcher of Sangria to share for just $30! Don't forget to order something to munch on, like an Apple/Bacon/Bleu flatbread or some Chips & Queso.

Red Rabbit Minneapolis is the perfect place to enjoy happy hour after a long day of looking at Minneapolis homes for sale. The rustic decor will help you feel relaxed and at home as you sip a craft cocktail and nosh on pizza and wings. Red Rabbit's happy hour specials include $7 tap beers and wine and $8 martinis. If you're looking for an earlier happy hour, Barbette is a great place to go. Their happy hour lasts from 2-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. This restaurant takes pride in using sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. Happy hour specials at Barbette include $6 house wines, select drafts, and house liquors. They also offer Frites, Pate, and Olives as snacks. For $8, you can enjoy Mussels, Herbed Chevre, and Grilled Baguette. If you're in the mood for a cocktail, the Mezcalita won't disappoint!
The Gnome Craft Pub - 498 Selby Ave., St. Paul, MN 55102

If you're hungry, try the Spicy Pickle Dip or the Nachos. The Bratwurst and Big Dog are excellent, too, and guests are always pleased with the Pork Sliders with Root Beer Barbecue Sauce.

W.A. Frost & Company is practically a destination of its own. Located in the historic district, this space is known for its warm fireplace and upscale American cuisine. They have happy hour deals Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4-6 p.m. One favorite at W.A. Frost is the Cheese Curds, which also come with onion petals and a ranch dipping sauce. If you're in the mood for something more filling, try the Steakhouse Burger, which comes topped with American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, and Steak Sauce Aioli. Wash it down with some mulled wine for good measure.
